Nice job looks good keep up the good work. On the flat did you use a hammer or a press just curious. Justashooter was one of the first jigs out there aand it's good to see that he wasn't forgoten.

I used a hammer and block and then tightened up the corners with my shop press. Justashooter said my first one would work and they would get better and better as I learn to do it, but this one came out perfect the first time. I just put 90 rounds through it and no problems at all. ak'sr4me

I will get some closeups and post them later today. I have to get to work on my pole barn while it's clear out. Was raining all night and this morning, but it has cleared. I am lucky about being able to fire my rifles here. I am in the woods and have 3 acres so I can step out on my porch and let em rip. ak'sr4me

Here is some closeups of the receiver. I plan on bead blasting it and maganese parkerizing the whole gun later, when hotbarrel gets better and finishes my tank but for now I just put a quick coat of blue on it so I could use it in the meantime. I didn't spend a lot of time sanding it, cause when I blast it it will take all the scratches out of it. Cephus, talking about the sound of freedom, a few months ago I was testing a build out in my yard and my girlfriend was watching. Just about the time I started to bump it, my neighbor was just walking out her back door. My girlfriend happened to be looking that way when I started to bump it and she said the neighbor yelled G$# Damn and ran back in the house. Needless to say, I was expecting a visit from the state boys for the next couple hours. ak'sr4me
