I must be going brain dead in my old age because last week I was at a website that was offering flats that didn't have the trunion holes pre drilled. I believe that they were selling for around $15.00 plus shipping. Did I dream this up or is there a website actually selling these?????? I believe that the company was selling some AK tools and parts too.

Is that your own flat Sang?
I'd be most interested in a flat specific for 74's.
Could you use an Ace template on that blank flat after it was folded?

PT,

Some I know might be getting in the game to produce these. The flat in the pic is .050 , but it could be made thinner. The ends have a little extra left on them for triming as well.

The person that designed it is wanting to see what interest there is.

Looks real promising. The flats from AA-OK don't have the FCG holes, but they have dimples. They are supposedly made from Russian steel (?) whatever that means.

How much are you going to asking for these flats if you start producing them?

I received my three un-drilled flats from AA-OK and they are really nice. Much thicker than the Tapco flats, so I hope it doesn't cause any problems. I will mic the flats and get the size. Probably .050 to .060 or so.
