Did anybody hear about this film? This is a video AJ put out and he talks about the copy of the script he was given and I tend to agree with him on this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9tIoJBhp18&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Leaked Machete Script Confirms Race War Plot .

It's been discussed for the past week on many different boards throughout the net world.

Rage
Much ado about nothing.

For those that can't separate fact from fiction, I feel for'em (especially if they're in an elected office).
Is there more than one Machete film? I saw the trailer on a DVD I got at the library last year, but couldent find the movie on the net to watch.Has it not been released anywhere?:)
Is this the Robert Rodriguez film that started out as a throwaway trailer in Grindhouse? With Danny Trejo playing a Hitman a guy hires at a Home Depot day laborer gathering? The one where he jumps his Harley while firing the minigun attached to the handlebars and has about 147 machetes sewn into his outfit? Yep, sounds like a really serious exploration of race relations to me. Couldn't possibly be a slightly comedically exaggerated Mexican version of the old Blaxploitation films and such that Rodriguez and Tarantino were trying to pay homage to could it?

Yes, this was spawned from one of the 'grindhouse' trailers. That is why you've not seen it, railbuggy, because ALL of the trailers attached to the "grindhouse" films were "spoofs" of 70s b-movies.

The full-on movie version of "Machete" is coming soon to theaters near you.

This movie has been written and planned for years, so again, I say it's a bunch of politicians running their mouths about nothing (or filmmakers missing their true precognitive calling - winning the lotteries).

Timing is everything. And this ain't just about politicians. Apparently, some of the film crew themselves think this movie can only cause trouble. They are the ones who claim that this movie is nothing more than a race war, and they are the ones that alerted the media. Of course, it didn't help that they released the first advertisement on Cinco De Mayo, or that it intentionally poured fuel on the fire by stating: "Arizona, this is for you...." Or something to that effect.

Don't be surprised if this movie is quickly and quietly shelved. And if not, and it's shown, I expect race relations to take a turn for the worse. I say that b/c we all know of Aztlan and La Raza, not to mention the huge numbers of Mexican gangbangers living in the US. At the same time, the cry to get them out by US citizens might just explode.

In the end, the movie can only cause trouble, in my mind at least.

PS: I normally don't give a damn for alex jones, but he makes some points about this movie.

Racist film ‘Machete’ produced with taxpayer funds

Wrong! Everything anybody does or says has an impact for better or worse.

This movie is nothing but trouble waiting to happen.

Glad I'm reasonably well armed.

But hey, don't believe me. Simply do a websearch on "la raza," and "Aztlan."

You'll learn enough from their sites to crap your pants.

Hard times are coming to America. Period!!!

Mandingo is there for a reason.

Same stuff was said about that movie when it came out.

Ittsa movie.
The only thing I have against this movie is that it is apparently being financed by taxpayers money.

Got a source for this "apparent" rumor? If you heard it from a political figure, just keep this in mind:

Q: How do you tell when a politician is lying?
A: Their lips are moving.

It's being financed by Robert Rodriguez and Co.

Robert Rodriguez explains the Cinco de Mayo JOKE Machete trailer.
I ain't laughin'!!!!

Then you've obviously not read the article.

In it, he says the same thing I said earlier in this thread - the movie's been scripted and set for years, and it's just an amazing coincidence that events in Arizona have come to mirror it.

Are you "not laughing" about Captain Kirk's communicator becoming real, too?

It's a movie, with a joke trailer cut to poke fun at current events.

If you read the interview, he's coming out with a "family comedy" trailer for the movie, too. You gonna "not laugh" when kids you know watch it and think it's funny?

The movie isn't anything like the Cinco de Mayo trailer.

Reading is fundamental.

Thinking for one's self is, too.

Tough Call I Guess.

Reefer Madness- Every damn kid who saw the movie came out of the theater wanting wacky tobacky. Oh yeah. Damn pot heads. :)

Texas Chain Saw Massacre- Hell they could not keep chain saws in stock. :w00t1:

Godfather part 1234567- Everybody wanted too be a mob guy.

Rocky part 123456789- I went too the local bar and guys were beating the hell out of each other in the parking lot.

Winter Olympic Time- Crazy fools bought their first pair of skis. Went too the top of the mountain and pointed them straight down. Damn trees got in their way.

Sands of Iwo Jima- Hell every kid in the hood wanted to be a Marine. I almost joined till I found out they issue bayonets and use live ammo. :nono:

Robyn Hood- Hell come on guys. We climbed trees and jumped on our buddies heads. Fess up. :)

Feel free too add the movie of your choice.
But if this movie come out. Hooo yah you watch. Americans will start getting hacked too death. Blood will flow. Keep you family home. Anyone sees a Mexican looking dude with a Macheteeee. Avoid him. Do not approach. Call your local P.D.. :)
