Massachusetts: Lawmakers not ready to pull trigger on gun rationing bill

Gov. Deval Patrick's proposal to handcuff the illegal gun trade by limiting gun purchases to one a month has gained some momentum on Beacon Hill, but still faces several major hurdles to final approval before the end of the lawmaking year. Patrick filed the bill over a year ago in May 2009 looking to prevent gun owners from purchasing more than one weapon a month.
