They will probably beat the charges but it will be expensive.
it's entrapment(sp?)anyway, same kind of deal as ruby ridge.
This case is getting more and more interesting.

Rage
Yes, entrapment used to be illegal in the US. It still is in most civilised countries.

This whole thing smells big time !!! My humble guess is that these Michigan people will ultimately be charged with "terrorist parking violations" and cop a plea deal. That will spare the Feds paying for the damages, legal expenses, and court costs for this political mess.

The Feds now have a much better terrorist poster boy from the NYC, Times Square fiasco.

VD
Funny, they don't mention why the Fed's case is compromised and why they released them when they are such 'Dangerous Terrorists', 'Planning a War against the Federal Government'...Seems to be sort of an aside as an article; also, was this at the bottom of page seven??? I thought this was a really big deal?

Front page headline news two weeks ago?

Janet Napolitanos triumph over tea-bagging DOMESTIC TERRORISTS???
You hear that Chromebolt you nazi.
if someone is prosecuted and the charges are either tossed or they are found not guilty the prosecution should have to pay all the defense costs including lost wages
these guys are a political football. some DA was likely wanting to use them as a stepping stone to a higher office.

I don't think he hears you Railbuggy :)
another way to make the tea party and pro freedom and constitution groups look like anti-government criminals.I think its they're way of trying to blind the public in a lame attept to win november.
Does anyone here remember when the U.S. Government could be trusted?

Was there ever a time when Federal Law Enforcement Agencies could be trusted??

Nope

And probably never.
Used to be in the federal system there were no plea bargains to reduced charges, so as a lawyer you quick ran down to the US Attorney office to arrange things before charges were filed. Don't know if that is still the case.
