Guy's

Wednesday night my brother was hit by a car while riding his bike.
He was lifeflighted to Boston medical center, where he remains in a coma.

Fortunately BMC is one of the very best hospitals in the world.
Unfortunately, they can't tell me much.

There is some brain damage, but they don't know how much, they are also concerned about neck injury.

They can't even tell me if or when He might regain consciousness.
He is my only Brother, and I am a wreck.

I can't believe all the trauma we've had in our little family here lately.
But if you have any prayers left, please say one for my little brother.

I probably will not be around much for the next few days, I'm going to spend some time with my Mother, She's 83 and needs all the support I can give Her.

Just a quick note before I head back to the hospital.

Unfortunately there has been no change in his condition.
He is still comatose and on a respirator.
I can't get any straight answers from the Doctors, they tell me they just don't know.

I want to thank each and every one of you here for your kind thoughts and prayers.

It's really amazing how people you wouldn't even know if you passed them in the street, can band together in a crisis, and offer meaningful support.

Especially since this board has been like a MASH unit lately.
Sang, HB, PT's friend (or was it TK's, I'm sorry I just can't remember right now) and now my brother.

Let's hope that's the last of it for awhile, We've shared enough grief recently.

Mom's holding up very well considering that even at 49, Tom is still the youngest, and will always be her baby boy.

Please keep him in your prayers

Thanks more than you will ever know,
Max

Max I?m not a religious man but that doesn?t mean I can?t wish your brother a full recovery from what has happened to him, I hope that your family pulls together and becomes stronger as a result of this terrible accident. The closeness and support of family is the most important thing that will help each of you through this. And remember you have friends here too.
