I remember a discussion about permanently attaching a muzzle brake to a 74 on a board that shall remain in the past. It seems to me that the 74 does not have a granade launcher ability and thus it would not need to be pinned or silver soldered. Do you guys remember any thing like that or in the alternative does anyone know if there is a granade launcher for the 74? Thanks Jack

I feel like I'm taking a stab in the dark but wasn't it something to do with the thread size of the romanian fsb being a certain size, and that there were no flash hiders in that thread size so it didn't need to be permanently attached? Also I think linx310 had something about it on his website romanian ak page

Since there is no EVIL flash hiders made for the 22mm threads of the Romy FSB the ATF has allowed the use fo the 22mm threads without welding..

There are EVIL flash hiders avalible for the 24mm threads of the other sight bases, so they must be welded...
