She came out fine and there was no sign of any major growths in the cartiledge of her ear. The Doc took out quite a alot of her ear and actually shortened it down by almost an inch.

She was a trooper through the whole thing as she has been for the last 2 surgeries, until she woke up last night in total terror that took us 45 mins to settle her down. We think she might have been having a little trauma release from the whole deal.

What he took out will go to a pathology lab to be examined again and hopefully it will be over. When we talked to him yesterday he had more info on the last sample and they had no proof of it being a cancer after all.

Whew!!! My poor wife was spent lastnight and after she had to make all the phone calls to relatives while I got the kids ready for bed she was pooped.

I'm glad it's over and I'm glad my surgeries are over, maybe I can get back to a normal life of some sort.

Thanks to all those that said prayers and gave advice.

Glad to hear it!! Kids shouldn't have to face surgery in a perfect world but I'm glad things are sounding good.

Sang, like I said, I am not a very religious person but, Thank GOD.

I know what it is to send the little ones into the OR and it's very painful for us parents. She won't remember a thing in a couple of weeks, trust me.

Man, that's great news, thanks for telling us.

Right on!

I had to have my daughter operated on for trigger thumb when she was two and boy, I know exactly what you are going through. *recalling pulling hair out*
Pour yerself a nice tall glass of your favorite poison, sit back in your recliner and have your own trauma release, because im sure you could use it.

Maybe you're due for another shooting trip?

My son had hernia surgery when he was six months old.

It was the worst feeling of my life when we handed him over to the surgeon and that was a minor thing in the scheme of life.

Great news Sang, I haven?t said anything on this before but I was thinking of your daughter and hoping for the best. I lost my Wife to Cancer back in May of 02, and we both thought the saddest thing were the children we saw at UW Hospital up in Madison Wisconsin. Again I?m glad to hear her tests came back negative. Tell her all your friends at Gunco wish her well.
