I don't think there's an "offical way" of doing it, it mainly depends on your skill level & tools.

Did you see this thread, you got a lot of links to go through and read, there's listings for x25 & 9mm (both are basicly the same)

You could also do a gas operated set up if you don't want to mod the bolt.
I've also seen someone that pinned the bolt in place instead of welding it so it can be taken apart fairly easily in case something needed replaced.

OH and there's a good thread by doubletapme on Weapons Guild, if you want to see it I'll link it or post some pics, it's a gas setup.
I don't mind moding the bolt, I like the pin idea though.
I have a fairly good amount of tool Drill press, hydraulic press, welder etc.
Yeh I did see that post on what bolts would accomadate what calibers.
Thanks for the reply
Been wondering were you were with this build?? therer are numerious ways to do this build. you can move the barrel back or move the mag forward. as I recall you wanted to do a pistol so IMOO id move the barrel back to make thginks more compact.

Id figure out how you plan on retaining the bolt in the carrier as the first step
I have a pretty good idea on how to do it. I just wanted to explore other options. Hey I still have that 74 bolt hope you still need it being I have a bbl coming that will require your artwork. :)
