Hello all, it's been a llloooonnnnggg time since I've last posted. Hope everyone is well in this twisted world today. Anyways, I've started scrounging up parts for a pistol build. Recently bought a stripped bolt from a website with a generic description. It arrived today and I noticed cyrillic on it. What country of origin is it? I've searched the internet, but geez, its terrible these days on getting something you are looking for.

No idea ,only ever had Yugo ones the last 18 years or so. Has it been reparkerized? The front section looks porous and looks like either it was pitted, welded on or cast.

It isn't welded or a casting. With the Cyrillic markings, it's probably Bulgarian. Anyways, I tried to put my headspace gauge in it, low and behold, it wouldn't fit. It did fit a 5.45x39mm bullet though. I sent it back today, hoping to get either a Hungarian or Bulgarian 7.62x39 bolt this time. Desert fox sales was prompt in their response. We'll see how it turns out. Anyways, not a bad deal for 40 bucks.
