Like the octagon barrel and the take down lever on the Chiappa, whish is had walnut or at least laminate wood on it though. Working on a Mossberg M72 levergun rebarrel right now. Don't like how skinny the reamer flutes turned out on this one so I'll try again.
OK, SS and plastic makes sense for an Alaskan rifle one can easily pack away. Not exactly walnut and blued steel, but still something you would not feel embarrassed to show your fellow Alaskans. A lever action Glock carbine OTOH...
How long before someone offers a lever for the Glock version that fires "automatically" like the Rifleman's? With a 33 rd stick in it the opening credits scene would have to be extended quite a bit!
