Hey Guys!!
I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. (Is this the right place for that?)
I live in Arkansas, as my forum name implies.
I'm a long time AK fan.
Currently have a Romanian Wasr 10.
In the past I have had several Sar1's, a Norinco (Mak 90) and an Egytian Maadi.
I also have a Bushy AK Shorty.
My handguns include Glocks, Sigs and Beretta's.
This is a good looking forum.
I look forward to chatting with you guys!

Nice to meet you. You will find nothing but the best group of AK no-it-alls in here. And I do mean that!! Good luck with any builds you are working on, and have fun.

Welcome Arkie,
This is a great forum, these guys have taught me more that I could imagine off of one site. I recommend reading everything and anything posted here. I also enjoy the respite from flame wars that seem to go on in every other forum out there. I don't mean to sound like a commercial but this site has really suprised me, its an oasis for the crafty, lol. :thumbup1:

Thanks guys!
I'll be reading up over the next few days!
Looks like alot of good info here.
Oh, BTW I'm no builder at all.
I haven't even gotten up the nerve to get rid of the trigger slap in my Wasr yet.
I have seen the tutorial on how to, just haven't tried it yet.
The slap in mine isn't all that bad, just noticeable.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Thanks again for the big welcomes.
Maybe I'll get interested in building me one from hanging out here.
I know Glocks inside and out. But as far as my AK and AR, I just shoot them and enjoy it.
So I need to study up to know anything about working on them.
See you guys around the board!

Ask away,
You'd be hard pressed to stump this group.

We've got guy's who rivet them, guy's who screw them, we even have guy's who weld them together.

Some start with a finished receiver, some use bent blanks and lately a lot have started bending flats, now that there are a couple of reasonably priced, prooven jigs available.

I just recently switched from bent blanks to flats, on my own builds.
