Thanks. The stock set were all new but from different makers. I stripped them and tried staining them but the stain didn't take very well so they ended up like that. I thought they looked kinda different and liked it so I kept it that way. The stock and grip are AMD 63 so they were a blond color and the hadguard were a redish for the upper and lower but two different shades.

I have to agree that the wood looks awesome. Also the idea with the 74 sight base and brake is neat too.

Thanks guys.
I used some ebony stain from lowels.Think it was minwax brand. After I stripped the laquer or whatever they used at the factory I lightly sanded it and applied the stain letting it sit for a while. Not sure why it came out like it did but it is different. lol
I have a standard 63 in the works so I wanted something a little different so on went the 74 parts.
