Wow!! What kind of pistol grip is that? Did you make the top cover/scope mount? Green metal looks good too! I don't like "bugs" but that is nice.

LOL No one comments on the Patch Scorpion combo.
The Pistol Grip is a TDI Arms piece.
The optic is just a first gen Kobra with the intergrated side mount (on the other side). I paint some of the rifle with Krylon OD.

As for the OD furniture - the the lower handguard looks different than the k-var set. Did you modify it or is it from a different manufacture? (the spot I am looking at is by the handguard retainer, looks like a coupe of screws there.)

Yep, that's a rail you're looking at. Its also TDI arms,as is the forward vertical grip you can't see.

I guess I was too focused on the snake the 1st time you posted the pic. I really like the idea of 2 colors on the metal, and I may have to "borrow" your idea. You do nice work!

Taipan you sure do have some interesting pets, have any of your little friends ever gotten loose on you? If so, that must make for a fun time looking around for them.

Only once did I have a "hot" animal loose., and that was for only about an hour. That happened when I was 16, stupid youth not concentrating on what I was doing. Before that I'd had numerous nonvenomous things loose. The funniest one was a coachwhip (red racer) that got loose while we were on a month long vacation, his vacation lasted just about as long lol. Everyday he would go sun himself in the windowsill that was easiest for the neighbors to see. We heard all about it when we got back. Needless to say we didn't get broken into.
