I just received a couple of the new Tapco flats and rails and they are not the same ones they used to sell from Vulcan. The magwell dimples are not as nicely done and the selector dimple is not as crisp. I also see they are made for a double hook trigger. I'm not complaining as much as commenting('cause you cant beat the price) but I'm wondering who besides FAC and Joeken still carry the Vulcan flats?

The tapco flats can use single or double hook trigger.

They seem to work perfectly. Holes line up when you bend them!

potentially from the picture here at http://207.176.137.9/shop/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=161&cat=AK47+Receivers+161 but is there still a lot of problems with wait times etc? Also looking at the picture I noticed they are cut so that a single or double hook could be used. maybe calling joeken would get an answer as to whether these are vulcan or tapco flats. FAC does have flats and underfolder flats too. In the catalog I have it looks that they are different from the joeken or tapco flats.

Is there a reason that the vulcan flats would be more desireable than the flats tapco is selling? Is it a cosmetic issue, or am I missing something?

I have one of FAC's flats that I bought about 2 years ago (back when they were getting $50 for them, still kicken myself for that) that I use for measurements.
Until recently, that's all they were good for :wink:
