I wonder if they will take ANTI GUN Gabby and her husbands guns away.???????????? We can own them yall can not.

"Giffords, Kelly own guns while pushing gun control"

"TUCSON, ARIZ. Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her husband, Mark Kelly, keep pushing for stricter gun laws as they continue to own weapons for recreational purposes, including the same type of gun used in the January 2011 shooting rampage that left Giffords wounded."
Giffords, Kelly own guns while pushing gun control - CBS News

Gabby is disabled, guess this means she will have to get rid of her arsenal.?????????????????? :)

while i understand the frustration of this & its possible overall affect.... & how if this happens, whats next?

the actual wording of this doesnt apply to day to day gun owners.

this is like the age old debate of taking a drivers license away from someone who gets old.

there: when are they too old to drive?

here: when are they too old/disabled to own a gun?

its purely subjective & absolutely unenforceable in both cases.

if you want a gun.... you'll get a gun.

if you want to drive... you'll get in a car & go.

One must understand getting a fiduciary also could include physically disabled Vets who are not able to travel that much. Paralyzed Vet assigns his wife to do his billing and checking, happens sadly to often.
To put a blanket policy on disabilities is going to open them for law suits.

The last item on the Communist Parties plan for America is Civilian Disarmament. They will keep expanding this till none of us are eligible.

YES. exactly Tim.

they are throwing a blanket at it & hoping to make any part of it stick. just think what it would mean in this hobby if everyone who is listed as "disabled" could no longer own/posses a firearm..

more than half of the guys in this hobby who taught me most of the stuff i know are disabled Vets or disabled in general.

their goal of this is to throw out this all encompassing net & then get any of it to stick. they may only get people with mental disabilities .. or they might get PTSD Vets.....

but they are just hoping to get anything with this as a toe hold.

honestly though: how many DV's do you know who are gonna give up any weapons just because "they tell you to"? its totally useless legislation.
