yea 4th it may be time to stock up on things. lowers, uppers and mags are in a glut and are about as cheap as they can get.

and who know if you will be able to SBR anything in the future?
what kind lower?
Rock River Arms.. Lower with a collapsible stock.
I just have a gut feeling about these SBRs. Those tax stamps may be the investment of the future.
I know money is tight. But it only adds a couple of hundred bucks too the price of the weapon now.
Who knows what the future holds for these stamps. Maybe I am wrong hell I dont know. Wouldn't be the first time. :)
I was think about SBRs AR lower too, but I want .223 and 7.62x25 upper , I wounder how do I does these paper works
I still cant get used to the look of a shorty AR,they just look funny to me.I'm sure I'll get used to it though LOL.

Bluejack read this. I just ordered another lower from ProjectGuns.
I went through a lawyer for $400 he set a trust up for me. So no Chief of Police sign off. Pictures, prints, hassle.
I just sent in a copy of my trust with the proper paperwork.
So essentially the corporation I set up is buying the weapon, not me.
If you want to save the money. I guess guys may be able to tell you how too download the info.
Think that is what Bradrock did???
Your corporation name will have to be imprinted on the weapon. ProjectGuns does that for me.
The one I bought from them was "created" built by them. So ProjectGuns was signatured on the weapon as the builders of the weapon.
Then I drove down for the legal transfer from them too me.
This one I am just purchasing already built. So I am the initiator of the SBR, hence my name on it.
I got my rather quickly, relatively speaking.
I sent copies of my C&R. Drivers license, VIN numbers from the FBI, CCW copied and a $20 bill for a case of beer for the boys at the ATF.
Hay. A little tip dont hurt. :) Just kidding. Dont do that.
Bobby put form 1, I believe. Think it is a form 4 now?? Call the ATF and get the papers. They will send all you want.
The more info you can send too the ATF it seemed to have speeded up the process.
Plus ProjectGuns being an O7 I am sure also helped.
Take your time when you fill out the paperwork. Dot the I and cross the T. Ask questions if in question. Put "Collectors purpose" if you like, for reason for wanting the shorty.
I got drunk and sent them a copy with the back not filled out. They sent the papers back and I had too re-submit. Sober. :)
It really is and easy process if you just follow the steps Bobby laid out.
I really am more after the stamps so much as I am the weapon.
Just an old mans gut feeling they are going to be the full auto investment of the future.
Hell I can leave them all to my family who all hate my guts. :)

Yes agree they are midget looking things. :) But back when I was in the Service many moons ago. A lot of guys wanted them.
They were issued mainly to Special OPs guys, Officers, FOs, Big shots.
People of impotence. :)
Really is a good close quarters weapon. In the rite hands. Hell I cant see anymore. But some younggun could do some good long range shooting with these little shorties I would bet.
Plus everytime I take it too the range. Chicks like hang all over me wanting too play with my shorty. :)
