The ATF list has just been updated:

ATF Online - Publications - Firearms - Curios or Relics List - Update January 2009 through June 2010

I haven't checked with vendors yet but this is good news for C&R license holders

Sweet!

Sold out! Well that lasted about one day. I guess they better get more and the other vendors better get with the program.

SOG has 'em (unless Black Blade has already cleaned them out :D)

That little Polish gun is a pocket rocket!
The P-64 has been ruled C&R eligible and so I added more to the collection. I replaced the factory springs with lighter #17 aftermarket Wolf mainsprings

I may have to add a few more before they run out and go the way of other C&R guns (i.e.German Makarov, CZ-52, Star Modelo Super, etc.)

Anyone got them in stock? I couldn't find any in my usual dealers.

Royal Tiger Imports shows them in stock.
And yes, that replacement hammer spring makes a world of difference in the trigger.

P-64 Arrived Today

I just got my P-64 in from Royal Tiger today. It is in unissued condition with a manufacture date of 1976. One thing I will say is that it has the worst double action trigger that I have ever encountered...no kidding I mean it must have a 20 lb pull.:uzi: Neat little pistol though.

You can replce the mainspring with a lighter one from Wolf Springs for about $8 plus shipping. Takes about five minutes to swap out. I change all mine with the #17 spring but some prefer the "safety" of the heavy pull as they make it a pocket pistol. :)
Bump to ask a question.

I just got a P64, a friend found a sale and decided to order one so I got one too on his order, and I need some info on the grip screw.
They both came with the flat sided grips (no thumb rest on the left), but on the one the screw sticks out past the nut further then the other.
Did the thumb rest style grips use a longer screw?

Yes I got the one with the long screw, left him pick since he placed the ordered. It's not a big deal, I know I can fix the screw, was just curious and thought I'd ask.
I got a few like that myself. Not sure where to get replacement screws but it never really mattered much to me. I did get replacement screws when I ordered custom grips from Marschal tho. So they must exist somewhere.

Damn! When in doubt check Gunbroker. Sometimes they have the parts for guns.

I see three listed.
I am curious how this little gun shoots, it looks interesting to me ... and the price is right.

They are great little guns for the price. All steel blow back action. The only downside is the heavy trigger that is easily remedied with changing the mainspring out with a Wolf #17 or #18 spring (about $8 and 5 minutes work).

They make for a decent CCW gun when something small and light is preferred.

I hear that the most recent batch from J&G Sales has been in rough shape cosmetically. However, I see Classic Arms says theirs are in very good to excellent condition and they offer two mags and the holster (apparently the better deal).

I usually buy in bulk to squeeze a little more in savings. Seems my family and friends keep wanting to "borrow" or "buy" one from me. Can't blame them. They are nice and accurate shooters.
