If I ever get around to playing with a 5.56 AK, I will just stick with these

The mag bodies that kvar have are post-94 production.
they did not have 5.56 until after 94.
This is a VERY gray area.
The law reads that the mags must work in the gun that they are originally made for.
So if you take a worn out 5.45 mag and replace the body with a 5.56 body then you have made a new mag. The 5.56 will fit the 5.45 gun, kinda but in reality they don't.
Now, for the Polish 5.56 mags.
They made them from 91 until current.
I have a line on some in long term storage (60 to 100) of them.
They will be priced between $50 and $60.
They will work in the norinco with some modification (sanding of the sides that go into the receiver)
I have sold 15 of them to 2 people. They have not had any issues.
