Looking ahead for the 7.62x25 Bizon build:

http://www.mg34.com/PPSh.html
Barrels, magazines.

Another source for barrels:

http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/parts.htm

012-01 PPSH 41 Chrome Lined 50.00
016-11 PPS 43 Chrome Lined 75.00

About the same as MG34.com but nice to have another source.

These are the only two sources I know of that have PPSH parts. It won't be too hard to make the switch from 9mm to 7.62x25. In fact it may be only a barrel and magazine switch.

Please post additional links if you find any.
Thx,
- Jerry

HcPookie --- rumor has it that early models of the m-91 (czarist 3 line)barrels would work - just have to machine the end for the needed length ... supposedly they were made with the same tooling , but check the chambers , I may be wrong

Still waiting for the mags to arrive. I may pick up a barrel next pay period. Going to do the 9mm bizon build first, then move on to the 7.62x25 later.

Just that my home-made circle cutter was a miserable failure. But it was a learning project. I have since bought a circle cutter and once I get my pending AK101 and AMD65 todo lists complete, I'm going to cut those out.

Got the springs, outer tube, and center tube. Just need to cut the circles and weld them on. Going to shim them up to get them to stay in place while I weld. I'm sick right now so I may not be able to get to them until next weekend at the earliest. Almost done with both of the other AK builds! (yay)

The barrel is fighting me - I'm using a Suomi barrel as the donor (before I thought about the cheap Uzi barrels) and it won't fit in my darned mini-lathe so guess who's going to buy a longer lathe bed? That "will" submit to the knife! :)

I thought I had the template for the Bizon receiver all measured out, but now that Rhino mentioned the pixel counting idea for measurements, he's got me thinking about measuring again. Going to use a Tapco flat for the receiver.

Oh and also I'm probably going to build my own trunion using an RSB as a donor for the top part w/ the sight. Will probably just get some of my steel bar and open it up.

I'll definitely be putting up pics so "stay tuned"
