Okay, how deep does your medical supply cache go? I have a little over 2 months of my prescription drugs on hand and if I ever felt the need to have more i can just go pay cash for them up to the limit of my prescription. How about emergency medical supplies? I have bandaging materials and things like peroxide, bacitracin and other creams and salves. No surgical stuff though. As an EMT I could have much more advanced equipment but i do not.

Prescribed is tough. Other meds can be found at farm supply stores. Bandaging and peroxide are easily available. Go natural.

Oh we have plenty of natural my wife makes a dandelion salve, a habanero salve, an arnica salve, and a replacement for commercial vapo rub. As well as soaps, lotions, bath bombs, shower steamers, sugar scrubs and laundry detergent. Other than dish soap and stain remover for laundry you won't find commercial soap products in our house.

Sometimes I think Ivory soap and homemade soap from wood ashes might be why the hairline recedes so much.IDK.

In order to make REAL soap you have to use lye and fats like lard or vegetable oils. Without lye you don't get the chemical reaction of saponification and then you don't really have soap.

Take a look at the ingredients in most commercially manufactured soaps, how many of those ingredients seem natural to you? Most are chemicals created in a lab. In homemade soap most are made of ingredients that most people know what they are.

I have stockpiled about 3 months or so 9f dried and canned goods for myself and my son. Because of my preparedness and ability to protect it my friends say, if anything happens I'm coming to your house. The number of people I'd have to support could quickly grow from 2 to 20. I do realize if someone has any supplies when everyone else runs out I wouldn't be able to make a stand by myself. As far as hunting, there would be more people with guns in the woods than trees. Any fish in the area would be next. Things would get dicey pretty quickly. It would be difficult to survive a couple of months without a major stockpile of food.

I have told my kids and my wife's kids if they are coming here they better bring food, blankets, medical supplies, and guns. Also expect to work, no work no food. I am not a charity and if it really boils down to simply surviving until the next day there will be no freeloading.

So here we are less than a week from the election. Have any of you stepped up your supplies? We have of food, and toilet paper and paper towels. We have plenty of basic medical supplies, soap and so on, and we are better off than most in firearms and ammunition.
