Anyone have any info on the Century R1A1 FAL? I see it uses a metric and not inch receiver. That seems like a good idea. I saw J&G has them for $500. Not too bad. I know it's no DSA, but how bad (or good) can it be? Thanks....KPD

I have purchased the receivers, both inch and metric and to date have had no problems. They did need some cleaning up, but with the difference in price (compared to the DSA) it was nothing. I do think that they (Century) would do the detail work for their complete weapons.

Sounds like they have the basis for a good .308. They put new barrels on these also, and the furniture new US. For $500 (compared to $1000 for DSA parts gun) it would seem to be a no brainer. Thanks....KPD
