I read in the NEWS where Medicare is going to change their policy on obesity. In the past, many medical procedures such as gastric bypass ($30,000) were not covered under medicare. They only covered things that were disease inflicted. Now, they are going to change their terminology so that expensive procedures such as gastric bypass are covered.

edit: I always seem to get Medicare and Medicaid confused!
