So how many PSL owner do we have on this site?
I love mine after finding a load it likes [doesn't like surplus ammo ]
I've been loading my own ammo and she shoots as good as a high dollar
target rifle now.
I'd like to here about your rifles and what type of ammo you use.

I love mine alot. I got it two years ago it was my
tax refund. I had a hard time finding ammo that it liked
so I started playing with some reloads and found it
likes 174gr .311 bullets and 53grs of h-4350 in lapua
brass.
So tell me what ammo does your rifle like and what doesn't
it like.
:thankyou:

Mine loves the Cech 147gr silvertip and being semi it's a job to clean after shooting the corrosive stuff. Gotta love the rifle though.

lupeloff do you have any problem with stuck cases?
I use the sivertips in my Moisen Nagants and after
about five rounds they seem to want to stick in
the chamber . So I didn't even try them in the PSL.

I have never had the first glitch. They also work great in my Mosin-Nagants. I changed the extractors in all of my Mosins to the pointed post war type. I read about people having a rough time cycling their Mosins, mine work as smooth as any of my Remingtons or CZs. The guy I got the extractors from has been out for a while and is having trouble getting more from Russia.

EDIT: I also polished the chambers in the Mosins.

BTW, Wolf 148gr works great also, but cost a lot more and opens up my groups just a tad.
