I have e-mailed tech support at SG and asked this info be sent. If maybe I could talk them in to say, 15 or 20 of these for the member price of 152.00 would anyone be interested? I understand, as well as you, I would be far less interested if they were milled. But, I'll ask and see what they say....

Front receiver stub is from a milled receiver, I see the lightening cuts, too bad, would have been a good deal.

I got one of the kits from SG and it is very nice condition. I would rate it at 85% finish. The metal is in good condition, bore is great, so overall I am pleased with the purchase. Yea, it is a milled receiver, but I want to get one of the Firing Line receivers and build as close to a Russian underfoldwer as possible and stay legal. Ohio Rapid Fire is supposed to begin manufacturing milled receivers in a few months according to Todd. After I talk with Firing Line on delivery of the underfolder receiver delivery, I will decide which way to go.

The wood forestocks are a little banged, but with some cleaning, sanding and finishing, they should come out pretty good.

This is just the kit I received, others may not be this nice. When buing kits sigh unseen, you never know what you will get. I wonder where these came from???? Are they part of the "PLO" group that is for sale?

You may want to consider having them barrel the receiver. Due to head space issues the drilling for the pin etc. it must be right on first time or you are screwed. I have a firing line receiver on a Polish barrel. They did a fantastic job. I finished the rest and it is one of my favorite weapons. By all means the Firing Line receiver is the way to go!!! Jack
