I just picked up a Romanian single stack AK. Can the mag well be resized to allow for hi cap mags? I understand there are templates. Any help would be great. Thanks

Earlier made single stack AK's had a small front trunnion and cannot be made into a double stack user (a friend had one and he couldn't make the switch). I don't remember what year it was maybe 2000 or 2001 but I'm not sure.
Later models have the wide double stack trunnion and can be modified to use the double stack magazine. Make sure which type you have before opening up the magazine well.

Is this legal ?????????,because I was thinking of buying some wasr 10's and converting them to double stack and reselling for more $$$

Converting the rifle so it uses military mags is legal. You want to refer to the 922r law.
Buying rifles for resale w/o a license is illegal.

yea and since it's so easy to do I doubt anyone is going to pay any amount of money for one that takes double stack. At least it won't be enough to justify going to jail.
