Just today, after I reassembled my FAL after reparking a few parts, I was thinking to myself that something was missing.... then I realized that I need another 308 rifle. Since I already have an FAL, and most of the parts needed to build another one, I thought a little variety would be prudent. I then realized that I hadn't built a CETME yet!

So the question arises, where can I get a CETME kit? What do they cost? What would a CETME build cost me after it's completed? I usually do the assembly work myself unless it involves machining. What websites should I frequent in order to become a true CETME guru?

One of my fellow shooters in our shooting club bought a CETME and the rear sight was canted so badly he couldn't zero it without a scope.

This is what cured me from wanting one of Century's CETME's.

I think it's common knowledge at this point that Century's guns are a waste of time and money.

I would never buy one I have not gotten to see first. I would not order one and expect to get a good one.
