I purchased a "Polish" underfolding Parts kit from a NON-MEMBER last week.
It was GOV.COM @ FNFILES or Falmania @AKfiles.
I paid $165 plus shipping so it was a total of $177.75.
Paid with Paypal.

Well the kit came in today.
The Barrel Assembly is still in the truinion, It is Romanian AKM.
The Top cover has Cyrilic writting on it and is smooth, so I think it is Russian AK.
The handguards are Russian AK(milled)
The pistol grip looks like it is polish but it is in a bag full of grease.
The Bolt and Bolt carrier have the same number, but it is a forced match(hand engraved)

Looks like it was refinished after demil based on the rivets.
Not a real matching # in the whole kit.

I think I would of done better with a kit from I/O For $119.

Anyone else buy a kit from this guy?

This is not worth $180 I paid for it for sure.

damn that is sorry looking for the price. Also is it only me or is anyone else having problems getting onto the falfiles or akfiles? (sites are coming up). Have you contacted the seller or is he not returning emails/phone calls?

I seen the ad he had his angle was they are GT's B grade kits and there won't be anymore coming in to the country.

As for the files their server is probably sinking in a swamp in Flordia.

originally the ad read something like this

FS: Polish Underfolder kits. These are Global Grade "B" kits that have been refinished with Brownell's gunkote. $165 shipped

I emailed him from my Hushmail addy and asked him if they were matching and if he took paypal.
I got no response.
I posted in the ad for him to contact me and emailed him from my AOL addy.
I got no response from the email, but he did PM.
His PM answer was EMAIL him.
So I PMed back and said I did.
He changed his ad to read

FSolish Underfolder Kits. These are complete kits $185 plus shipping

Or something to that effect.

He PMed me back and told me the price and he took paypal.
He also informed me that he was not holding anything without funds and these were going fast.
I told him I sent the first email when the price was $165, and he said he would honor that price.
He changed increased his ad to $195 shipped.
I sent him the paypal.
The next day he basically said he was sold out and there were some kits coming back (GO FIGURE) and he would offer them up for sale.

I think I am pretty screwed on the deal, but since this is DAY 1 - who knows.
On his behalf, he does live in Jacksonville (middleburg) Fla, and I know that there are plenty of people there without power or phone.
I know this because my brother lives just 8 miles from this guy.

I would be happy if he gave me $80 back but other then that I would want a full refund with shipping (return shipping also)

And Jack, I have NO doubt in my mind at all that you would not send me this shit. Just like I would hope that you have NO doubt in your mind that I would not send you crap or hell send ANYONE crap. My motto is I will not sell something I would not put on my gun unless it is CLEARLY stated the current condition with whatever flaws maybe

I did some searching.

Last month he bought 2 polish kits, this month he sold "122 kits"
He paid PREMIUM dollar for the 2 kits he bought last month.
Why would you buy 2 kits if you owned 122 kits?
Also I found out where the russian parts came from. He he currently selling a russian milled kit complete with trunions.

I would place bets he pulled the bait and switch.
He had 2 polish kits that he just bought.
He bought a bunch of $119 centerfire kits.
He then sold them as "polish" kits.
most people would not know the difference
His mistake with me is that I know Polish stuff. Hell I got a spare bedroom that is FULL of polish AK stuff.

I don't mean to rub the salt in, but I just got my AMD-65 from TAPCO today, and it's absolutely minty, except for the anthrax powder all over everything. There's white stuff all over it, kind of "dusted" with it, but rubs right off. Kit, TAPCO G2 FCG, and Muzzle extension, oil bottles, pouch...$ 89.00. with shipping it was 100 bucks to the door.

I bought a krink kit minus triggerguard, FCG, and rear stock for $150 and it was a DEMIL so there.....

From what I can gather the barrel assembly came from one gun.
The rest came from a russian milled gun that had a FORCED matched bolt and carrier (hand engraved not stamped)

it was not a outfit but a person.
And that person will be surprised when I knock on the door in a couple weeks.
I am going to disney and will stop and see my brother along the way.
My brother lives just 8 miles from this fellow.

Charles, I can say without exception you are a man of quality and I would trust your transactions without any question. The stuff you have sold me is of the highest quality. Those of us on this board that have had good experiences with each other need to let our other friends know. I truly believe in a good man's word, and if a mistake is made, a man's attempt to correct it. The problem for you is some day I am going to visit you in S.C. and you are buying the first beer. :wink: Jack
