Thought you all might find this interesting, I was watching the history channel and they are talking about Russian small arms. They showed the tula plant (and museum). Ok the interesting part is the Tula arms plant was built in 1712 and started producing in 1714.

hope I didn't bore anyone.

edit: they are also talking about the nagant and other small arms.

The Tula factory has got to be an interesting place as they turned out many other items than firearms and ammunition. Check out these Tula made scooters!

That was a good thread! I tried searching for the museum on Google and got nothing. Stottman always has something interesting to offer in his picture posts. He has an extensive gallery of pics over at http://www.hunt101.com/.(he's one of the top ten posters over there)
