South Carolina: Sellers seeks to expand rights for Right-to-Carry permit holders

In a state where Second Amendment rights are often viewed as sacred, a T&D Region state legislator wants to take them a step further.A bill co-sponsored by Rep. Bakari Sellers, D Denmark, would allow citizens with concealed weapons permits to store a gun under the seat of their vehicle. An additional amendment would allow for storage in a door side compartment or above the sun visor.
