There's been a truce since the bullets stopped flying in the Korean War. The war never really ended.
I've heard that it was revenge for an exchange of fire between a SK and NK ship a few months back.
If I was in charge I would execute some captured NK spies...for starters.
NK has also seized control of several SK-owned "Resort" hotels that are in NK as retaliation for holding aid shipments: North Korea seizes South-owned resort as warship tensions grow / The Christian Science Monitor - CSMonitor.com
i just thought it was neat to see that boat lifted by a crane and swung threw the air.....

even though its only a 1200 ton boat its still a LARGE crane...

no all thats gonna happen is we are gonna give the north some more money and food to be good boys for a while.

same as always.
if NK is that mean to their own brothers in SK, just think how nice they are going to be when china hires them to repo the USA!
Who's to say that PRC (ie Red China) isn't behind this naval tragedy ?? The silence from the US gov't is a strong indicator in my opinion. This challenge to the US presence in the far east is beyond Hillary's skills to handle.
