use hotmail

 

I think they don't accept the public domains like Yahoo and Hotmail due to some scammers in the past. They tend to like keeping it safe as possible for all the trading, buying and selling among members. Still an occasional scammer gets through the cracks. I use Hotmail but have been registered long before they stopped accepting these domain addresses so I am "grandfathered" in.

 

I had to use my usmc.mil email to register. Then got an email from the mod@hotmail.com reminding me hotmail and yahoo accounts are forbidden. lol.

I used yahoo before the restrictions. The folks here are nicer.

There was an issue a while ago with the spammerscammers. It a good site, a little more up tight then here but still a darn good place. Of course i got in trouble and threatened once because an add was unclear as to how many mags were for sale at a given price. Apparently there are $200+ magazines for aks....some of the guys there are into exotics and get feathers ruffled if you just ask a simple question. But outside of the elite circle the site has good people and info.

 

I GAVE U[P EVERY TIME I LOGGED IN THERE A YEAR OR SO AGO IT WAS A ISSUE. WHEN I GOT THE NEW COMPUTER I NEVER WENT BACK. THERE ARE A HAND FULL OF TRUE BUILDERS THERE WHO GET WORSHIPED BY THE POSERS AND MALL NINJAS. BETTER HAVE PERFECT RIVETS AND THE CORRECT FINISH OR THEY THINK IT IS NOT A GOOD BUILD.
I HAVE SEEN JUST TO MANY ASS HOLES OVER THERE TO KEEP GOING BACK. THERE SITE WAS A PAIN INT HE ASS TO NAVAGATE AND IT ALWAYS F#$KED UP EVERY TIME I WANTED TO POST A PIC OR A THREAD i JUST GAVE UP. I ENJOYED SOME OF TURBOTHIS'S STUFF AND IDEAS BUT FOR THE MOST PART TO MANY GUYS THINKING THERE WORKING ON SOME SUPER RARE ULTRA COLLECTIABLE ZOMBIE KILLER. IT HAD A ISSUE WITH MY AOL ACCOUNT AS I RECALL. THE NUMBER ONE NET PROVIDER IN THE WORLD AND THERE TO GOOD FOR IT.

 

Use an aol.com account. But be forewarned it might not get activated. After I made an account, a year past and it never got activated. I contacted a mod through another forum and got it activated.

I honestly just go on there to sell stuff as I don't build AK's anymore. I like it when I was there. But I haven't been on there since. It's probably like Arfcom now.

 

yeah, I just mainly wanted to get on there for the classified section. See some good deals there sometimes.

 

OMG,,, they dont want anyone to join their merry canp do they. went over to see if i could register and wow. they dont seem to be very friendly at all. no great lost is it?

 

tried to register overthere like 3 years ago and they wouldn't take my email. eff em.

 

you know that place was took over by the don't ask-don't tell types!

now if you get "pierced" they might take you in--LOL

 

I was giving them a whirl for a little bit, but I like the folks here way better.
