Not trying to beat a dead horse here but I find it humorous that even though I'm banned from the site, the little nazi keeps me on the email list. Thought some here might enjoy reading what the "elite members" get spammed with.........

This has been a good drive but not a great one so far, but we are still far far
away from the ultimate goal. So far only 150 have signed up versus the
thousands upon thousands of members we have. I still see tons of BLUE
registered members. I am asking you all to get more involved and talk to your
online friends. Those of you who know who have been here awhile and still have
not contributed to ask "Hey how about helping the website?"

We need you all to put a fire under your friends and other members you know, who
have not yet upgraded or contributed to Guns Network.

All of us staff really do appreciate what you all have done. We still have
plenty of members who need to "RENEW" there membership coming up before end of
year. This may be the right time cause at least you get in on the raffle.

Please tell at least 5 friends that are here and that have not upgraded to
Contributor. Lets see if we can even get close to 500 members that have
contributed. We still have plenty of time until the middle of November. But we
need you all to do your part.

Gordon, I'm one of the 150 members he mentioned, too. My guess is there are others here, as well. You guys have to realize that GunsNet, with its chaos and disorder, is exactly what Mr. Thornton wants, or he would change it. It is his site and responsibility. I know its aggravating to be banned from GunsNet and still be spammed for money, but let it go. I doubt Mr. Thornton thought about your name being on the email list.

This is a promising site, much more so than GunsNet. GG, you're a big part of that, so don't let GunsNet upset you.

AClay, I appreciate your concern, however I am not upset. Quite the opposite, I find it humorous and just wanted to share what I found to be a very poor piece of arm twisting of his most loyal members. What a schmo. GG

Luckily, I never waisted too much time over there. When I started getting involved with AK's and online forums, I found gunsnet. I think there was a link to it on Glock Talk. Spent a few months there, and as soon as I expressed my opinion about the new BIY II forum opening up, I got an earful from a mod and my response deleted. Then..I get an email and find out about this site. Been here ever since! Thanks SH!
