Nice! Kinda wish I'd smatched an Albanian 'cause I sure wouldn't pay the current rate. Collectable or not I'd shoot it, but that's just me, I've tried to keep a virgin rifle or two...

Just can't do it.:) 6 months? You must live in a city! If a rifle can get past my back porch it has a sporting chance of being a virgin for a week or month, that's about it though...

Edit: where's that AFRO avatar?!

Very nice. Now go and find the time and enjoy them on the range. Remember you only live once. Don't be a someday kind of guy, you will get old and say I should of done that.

Man I had to watch as those went by, no sales to California. I have snagged a couple of Russians, a '51 and a '52 that have been rearsenaled. But it just flat killed me to see those super cheap prices and not be able to buy them. Yeah, I could go thru a FFL01 and get one with the grenade launcher cut off, but that just takes all the fun out of it. Sigh. GG

I miss those days of the $79.00 Albie SKS's

Or the 79.99 yugo's that AIM had for a time with free shipping...was a great deal especially for C&R holders! I think they were labeled shooter grade, but mine sure weren't. More like excellent! I think I picked up 4 in that time frame!

Nice SKSs, I just picked up an unfired pre-ban Norinco /26\ that is beautiful IMO, it's almost to perfect to shoot, but I buy them to shoot not to sit and look at. I do sit and look at them a lot though.;-)

BTW, it has a bayonet ( spiked ) that is blued, not silver, it is the only one I've seen like this.

My Alby went out the door yesterday  to some one who will not shoot it !:thumbup1: He will ad it to a collection he has. It still has the cosmo in it and I all ways wonted to shoot it BUT Then didnt wont to ! So I got rid of it now I'm at Peace !:thumbup1:
I know I know ! But it was harder keeping it than getting rid of it to some one who will keep it as it is !

I could not own a gun and not shoot it.;) I allways pick military C&R guns with good wood, because I like to leave em original.:)
