You know what? I changed my mind.

I lost my temper when I read your post about "eating" the cost of postage from my home to your home. I got all wound up thinking that you were trying to make it sound like I was gouging you on shipping costs, and that no one should have to pay shipping.

I told you to forget about it, but you know what? I changed my mind.

I work one full time job, and three part time jobs. I do volunteer work and I try to help people out when they most need help.

You owe me $4.14 for shipping this tool to you. I rushed it over to the post office, before they closed last evening. I was running late coming off of my full time job, but I gave my word to you that I would mail this tool to you yesterday and that is what I did. This caused me to be late for my second job.

If you don't want to charge the next guy for postage, that's on you. What you say on the forums is up to you. You read my original offer to loan the tool out. You knew that each person would pay the shipping. You asked to borrow the tool. You PM me and told me that you would pay the shipping.

In reply to this email....I planned on paying you for the shipping anyway. I was not going to charge anyone else for it because I thought if I didnt charge for shipping then know one else should either. You would just be sending the money to ship it to the next person .....and so on....and so on. Just thought it would be easier if I ate the 1st charge.

1) Im paying thumb clip

2) I will send it to the next person with no charge.

3) Instead of paying me send the money to the next in line and so on....



Does this make sense to anyone? Im just trying to save people the time and effort of having to pay for shipping when the next person has to pay for it any how. In other words....Im the only one out of the money for shipping(4.50). Which I dont care about. I think its simpler this way. Now all we have to do is mail it out and pay for the shipping. Not have to worry about paying anyone else.

I was very upset from this PM. He was blaming me for him being late to work? What is that? He could of waited another day to send it for all I care. Im very easy going and I have dealt with several gunco.net members and I have never had anyone talk about me this way. I just wanted to share this with all of you, take it for what it is worth.

I think it was just a misunderstanding. That is the problem with written text on forums and the inability to ask some one to repeat or explain themselves. I have seen good friends in other places argue for way too long over this kind of thing. In reading Mbadboyz post I understood that he was going to pay the shipping to recieve it and then again to send it and then each person would just pay to ship it to the next person. I hope you two don't get upset for adding my 2 cents and if you do I apolagize ahead of time.

Yes. Your right. Text can be misunderstood. I just thought I would start the shipping price and make it easier for everyone else. I think he thought I meant he should of started it. Im just trying to be nice. Im ok here. I didnt mean any ill feeling between us. Just dont think he understood what I meant.

Very well said. Take it from me a major f--k up some times (well most of the time acording to my x wife) misunderstandings happen. Lets try to remember that we do this stuff for fun. There is no better weapons forum than this one, and when we get pissed off or what ever the fun goes out for us all. I have read both of your posts over time on this board and you guys are cool. I hope we can all remain friends and save our anger for the ass holes that really deserve it, ie. those that want to take our second amendment rights away. Jack

Hotbarrel has written back and asked me to offer his creation to others with the following provisions:

1. I will only charge actual cost of shipping from my home sweet home to yours.
2. The recipient will use the tool and then pass it on to others who need to use said tool.
3. That each person that uses this tool will only charge actual shipping from their home sweet home to the next recipient.

I think the original deal was this

Person A had the tool.
Person B wanted the tool.
Person B would pay EXACT shipping cost to person A for shipping tool to person B

What Mbadboyz came up with, is a better plan.

His plan was
Person A had tool
Person B wanted tool
Person A would then pay out of pocket for shipping to Person B
Then if person C wanted tool, person B would pay shipping to person C
And so forth.
This means no waiting for payment before shipping.

What Mbadboyz said was He would "eat" the shipping cost which means he would pay Thumb for the shipping from A to B. He then would enact his new plan of B pays shipping to C and then C pays shipping to D and so forth.

I think the whole deal was a miscommunication...

This is how things start to spiral down by people just not understanding each other.

We all make mistakes, let's put this behind us as a learning experience. My experience of being involved with another website for a long time taught me a lot about people. Then almost dieing back in July taught me more than I ever thought someting like that would.

Since then I gave up my promotion at work as my mental health is more important than money. Small stuff that used to make me really angry is now starting to roll off my back.

Believe me, don't sweat the small stuff anymore.

I also agree that this is a great forum and it is now apparent that the limits of language caused the misunderstanding. It is reassuring that with the likes of the ?disarmers? out there, that we on this board stand together in common courtesy and respect.
