Who else here has one of E&D's version 1 laser cut flats?
The ones without the LH selector hole and the front cut incorrectly.
The problem with the front is that it was cut squared to the bottom instead of the top.
After welding I squared the front with the top, tapering the cut from the bottom to the top, removing 0 material at the top.
The problem is that now the receiver is almost .125 too short in the OAL.
I contacted E&D, (who had admitted to the problem on the other board) about a replacement, I never even received a reply.
How many others here, are stuck with one of these paper weights?
