I was there today, and going back tomorrow. I have seen the guns and they are fabulous! If I did not already have a dozen I would get a few more. But I did get an Uzi receiver and built it today and I will grab some more goodies tomorrow.

These guys and their wrok is top notch!

Do the Vector AKs use the OOW AK-47 receiver? Do they have that damn gap in between the selector and top cover?

They do use the ITW receivers but the one example I saw did not have the gap. It would seem they welded up the safety hole and relocated it.

I used an OOW receiver on my AKM build and didn't have the big gap I hear about. There is a tiny one, barely noticeable.

So I guess they fixed the issue or do some of the kits out there still have the gap with OOW receivers?

I really haven't had just a lot of problems with the 2 OOW recievers I have used...but I anticipate hangups and what not...if it is too easy...something is bound to be wrong, lol.

well it is good to hear a good hands on review on vector. many of us were afraid they were just a joeking offer..more slight of hand... lol
