As is our job to use that rifle to ensure democracy always lives in this country!
That's pretty well put. Let me go a step further. Gun control is not about making the country safer. It is about giving the government sole authority over who may be armed and who may defend themselves. If we look across the Atlantic at Great Britain, we see what happens initially. Citizens are not allowed to defend themselves with firearms, pepper spray, or even pocket knives. Only the government has a right to defend them. What happens when it is unable or unwilling to do so?
Back to topic - I'm going to vote early Monday. My mind was made up about the National races before the Democrat Primaries, and now I'm well familiar with State and local candidates. No sense waiting anymore. Besides, I'll feel better once I've actually
cast my vote!
