Just had a call from my favorite FFL, the wasr's are to be shipped very soon. He gave me a wholsale price of $329 plus shipping & transfer fee. I commited to 1 of each. I've never had a wasr, so it's time to give them a try. What do you think?
I have a friend who has a WASR-10 and he has had nothing to say but good things. If you're not yet into the "building" of AK's, go for it. You can normally turn around and recoup most of your money.
Are these the restricted capacity WASRs? If so, $329 seems awful high for a single stack rifle. The single stack WASR-10s in 7.62x39 go for under $200.
Ron, I knew you could not pass them up. As soon as you get them, give us a first hand report. By the way, I noted from the Century Arms site they are available in both low and high cap configurations. Jack
