I stumbled across this tonight doing some searching. Here's the LINK. I remember reading a thread on another board a long time ago where a guy sold a buch of these bending jigs for a handsome amount of money, and if I'm not mistaken, didn't come through on a lot of them. Is this the same guy?

I contacted him around Christmas last year and was told a price of 250 for his jig and he was ready to take my money, too, and then I found out through some reading on various other sites that there were many people who had already sent him money and had been waiting for 4 and 5 months to get theirs. A lot of them never did get em. I am so glad I found out before I sent him my money. If he couldn't come through with his committments he should have at least sent there money back to them. As far as what happened to him, he is probably hiding under a rock. ak'sr4me

I had Waynes jig. Clearly. it was very well built, it was out of spec, poorly designed, but well built. The 555th jig, Stickermans jig and the DPH jig outclass it by a vast margin.

I think Wayne was just a very poor buisness man and had a lot of family problems, so he just decided not to confront this issue any further. I do not think he went out to shaft anyone he just seriously over estimated his abilities.

I think Wayne was just a very poor buisness man and had a lot of family problems, so he just decided not to confront this issue any further. I do not think he went out to shaft anyone he just seriously over estimated his abilities.

I believe you are right, he never intended too rip any one off but he over estimated his ability to make these. They also had quality control problems because he farmed out the work. I'm still waiting for one but I knew ahead of time he was already pretty backed up and falling behind on his orders when I asked him to add me on but I wanted to bend pretty bad. So I consider that my bad decision.

Bad business man or family problems considered. Come through or refund the money. Be a Man and take responsibility for your own actions!!!!!!!!! And why, when you are already hopelessly buried in orders that you can not fill, would you continue to take more orders and collect more money?????????? ak'sr4me

Some of you all are very forgiving. If he had my $250.00 I would send the law after him! You can bet Id get my money back, even if I had to go to court over it. Money is very hard to come by these days.

My experience with Wayne on the other sight is that he is a loud mouthed, ignorant asshole. I have never given him any money though. Considering the company he keeps I am not shocked at his business practices. Good luck, and don't cut the guy any slack. He is a big boy and knows exactly what he is doing.

Understand, I am not forgiving Wayne Morgan for anything. However, it makes it easier to understand his actions if you know the whole story. I do not feel he should be allowed to slide for what he did. This is a small but honorable fraternity we share, any of us who do not maintain the honor of this fraternity must be shuned and exposed for what they are.

There is only a small difference from those who, with malice of fore thought, act without honor, as opposed to those weak individuals, who, circumstances induce to act without honor.

It is like my dad used to say "THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE MAKES MEN AND RIVERS CROOKED"

Wayne invited me to meet up with him at the Detroit Lakes gunshow in Minnesota last year back when he made the very generous offer to refinish anyones AK wood for only $5.00 per stock inclusive of return shipping (in another words he would lose money). Many sent there stocks and got them back and were pleased with his work. He was supposed to have two tables rented at the D.L. gunshow and he never showed up so I never got a chance to meet up with him.

Later after he started to make a few receivers I emailed him asking if he would like to meet up again so I could learn from him how to bend my own receivers. He sent me a flipped out email swearing at me telling me he allready had enough friends and he certainly didnt want any from the FBI!! (I am an Architect by trade and I told him that in previous emails).

After that I saw that the guy was completely off his rocker so I decided that when he started to offer to sell his jigs that I wouldnt send him any of my hard earned cash.

My experience with Wayne Morgan.......

In June of 2003,I needed a barrel extension for my AMD-65.Went into the AK-47 forum posting thread that any help with buying one or having one extended would be appreciated. Out of the blue,I get an email from Wayne,saying he's a machinest and he could do this simple job. I sent him 2 muzzlebrakes off my AMD's,like an idiot I never asked what the turn around would be. He got my brakes the same time he was starting to build the receiver bending jig. After a month,I emailed him,said he had not started on them yet. Another month,same song and dance. Finally,he would not return any of my emails,went to the AK-47 forum and had one of the moderators email him,got an answer right away.Said to be patient,that he had one done and would get the other one done asap.Come the end of December,6 months has now passed buy,and no brakes. 1st week in January,I get a package from Wayne,one done,the other was welded up(extended) but the holes were not machined.At least I got my brakes back,that's all I wanted at this point. Anyway,I go in and leave him a NEGATIVE for this transaction.I only had one guy email me about why I had left him a negative.I posted,but no-one read it. Oh,well.

I think you're right.

We do not cover up for people or delete threads here, but I think we've all formed our opinion.
