My wife threw a surprise birthday party for me on Friday evening in honor of my 35th and in honor of the fact that I'm still alive after my ordeal late last month.

Saturday her Dad and Step-Mom came over to watch the kids for a few hours and gave us $50 for our anniversary. We went out to eat and saw the IMAX movie about NASCAR. (The movie is awsome!)

The only bad part was: I got really drunk Friday evening and am still feeling it today (Monday) as I don't drink, but one beer every 2-3 months. Ugh! I'm still feeling so bad!

I forgot to add: I sold me 1998 Merc on Sunday too! I'm very happy about that!

Too bad all the money is going to Doctor's bills now though.

It looks like I can't make that one since I'm going to Knob Creek in early October.

Ya' know, if there was a show in the eastern/central part of Ohio it might be closer for me and some of the Cincy guys to all meet too.

I'll have to do some research to see what kind of shows there might.

Jeff, get yourself to a health food store and buy some "B" complex vitamines. Also, consume lots and lots of fluids. I usually drink a ton of Gater Aid. I at one time was quite the pro of the drinking game so this is my tried and true remedy. I have cleaned up my act since. Jack

How was the movie? It was in 3d? My wife and I were on our way to see it and found out it was like $15.00 a person. We had our 3 children with us so it would of cost us about $50.00 all together. Saving it for another time out when we can get a baby sitter.

It was well worth it, but we only have to pay $7.50 for it since it's at our history museum.

I would splurge and take the kids to it for the $50 or so.

The best part is seeing Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson playing moonshiners driving a 1940 Ford being chased by Mike Helton (President of Nascar) playing a cop down old back gravel roads. That was frickin' hilarious!
