I am trying to figure out which battery to use on a PSOP 6x42 scope. It doesn't have the long thin battery case that takes AA's but has a shorter fatter one and when opened looks like it would take camera style batteries. Would two of the 357 size batteries work or is there some obscure 3v battery that needs to be used? Thanks for any help in this!

Thanks for the link! I called the company and I asked about the battery size as it was listed as a 3v or 2x1.5v and found that the battery size is LR44 for the 1.5v. This correlates the battery number with the number 357 batteries for replacements. So seeing the family and I had to go to walmart anyways, I picked up a couple - put them in and it illuminates great. To bad I got this scope on a trade and am thinking of selling it already! It works great on the sar for right handed shooters - but seeing I am a southpaw the angle of the scope isn't there for me. The optics are nice and clear though and I wish there was some adjustment for making more left hander friendly. Maybe I should practice being ambidextrous more :D .
Either way - thanks again for the link and the quick response to my question!

Jerry,
Thanks for the link and the idea. If I decide to keep this scope I might have to go with the AA conversion.
