[Polish Taipan]

I should be picking up a 20" Maadi barrel and was wondering if it would fit in a RPK 23mm trunnion. 23mm is the standard for non chinese 7.62's right? Anyone see a problem with this? What about the stight base, too narrow on the Maadi?

I have neither. I'm waiting to hear back on the Maadi barrel, KVAR has Romanian RPK trunnions. I had thoughts of using a Coldsteel RPK blank. It would be kind of a Franken-RPK, but I could get real creative.

I decided to drill the receiver and make your trunion work for mine since the holes did'nt line up.
I used "JB" and sanded smooth.

I ordered a Bulgarian underfolder stock to use on the RPK74F. I think I'll use yours one a regular 74 kit for a "little brother" to the RPK.
I scored the 20" Maadi barrel, my idea is to get a Coldsteel RPK blank and use a Romanian RPK trunnion from KVAR. It'd be sort of a Franken-RPK look a like.
