I had a pre-ban Daewoo K-2 back in 1994. The rifle had a flimsy fiberglass or bakelite folding stock which I broke without half trying.

The rubber buttplate was held to the stock by a centrally located screw that threaded into a nut in the buttstock. The nut was held in place by a flimsy nut holder that easily broke just tightening the screw.

I have never seen anyone offering spare parts for the stock, especially just after the 1994 ban.

I super-glued the buttplate to the stock as best I could and traded it off at the next gun show for a MAK90 with a cracked stock.

I think I got the better deal. :thumbsdow
