Next build is going to be an AMD65 from a TapcoFlat.
There is a set of holes that don't line up with the rear trunion so I will have to drill a new lower set of holes. No problem.
But what to do witht the other set of holes? On my 74 build I just welded up the holes but the made an ugly mess and lot's of extra work grinding the welds smooth.
It looks like I could just drop in an extra Center support and pin into that set of holes. Could I do that or would there be a conflict with something that I'm not seeing at this moment? Like the Selector or maybe the action.?.
Thanks,
Del

Put 2 10/32 buttonhead screws in the holes.

I'd put a rivet in the empty holes.

A friend of mine put a sling swivel that he found at a gunshow on the left side and a buttonhead on the right to fill in the empty holes.
The sling swivels 360 deg. and since he used buttonheads instead of rivets on the whole receiver you wouldnt even know they were "filling a void"!
