What is the difference. I was reading a thread and the full auto rails were mentioned. Does it make any difference if you use the full auto on a semi build? What is the difference? Why would the rail be different anyway? I have no interest in building a full auto. I just read that there were two types and it's something new to learn about AKs.

Shooter-- the right hand lower rail has a gap between the rail and inner receiver sidewall that allows the full auto sear arm to contact the carrier.

It's no factor one way or another in our builds.
