Yugo U/F Rear Trunnion Rivets??

Hey folks, I'm having a senior moment here. I've built one in the past, and I seem to remember that for underfolder clearance the upper rivets were shot in from the inside with the "bucktail" on the outside. Is this correct??? If not, then I have a problem, as my underfolder hits the domes of those 2 rivets on either side, and will not let it lock forward. TIA,

just file them flat and you will be good
Thanks Bohnscott, that's what I was planning on doing. For future builds though, is it correct (ie-factory) to install them with the head on the inside???
i believe that is correct. of course i never been labeled for my correctness
I ground a little off of the inside of my folder and was good to go on those. You can't notice the material I took off(which was not very much)
I preferr to do it the way you did it. It would be a bitch to do it the other way. Plus I think it looks better with a slightly flattoned rivet head than a formed head on the outside.
Pat, just to clarify, do you mean to press the rivet normal and then file the head down???

BTW, even after filing the head down, and making it look nice and uniform, I still had to grind quite a bit off of the folding stock. Looks and works good now, but I am surpised at how much I had to take off to get it to lock all the way forward. I don't remember having this issue on my other one(s). Oh well.
Actual Yugo factory UF trunnion small rivets have a flat head that goes inside and the dome is formed outside.Looking at a few stocks here,my stamped M70 UF has recesses left and right to clear the rivets heads and looks like even AK Builder size would clear.Does your stock have one or two rivets on the arms in front?A Yugo "M64" milled stock with the single rivet in front only has a recess on the left side(veiwed from bottom)
to clear the selector and nothing on the right. No rivets to clear on a milled.Might be the stock not the rivets.
I used AK-Builder rivets on my M70 and had no problems with the rivets.
I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but it must be the stock. I certainly didn't have any problems that I can remember with my other ones. Looks and works great now, but I had to remove a fair amount of material to make the recesses large enough to accomodate the rivets. And that is AFTER I ground the heads down flat. It would have never cleared with the domes intact, and I wouldn't have felt comfortable removing that much material. I'm assuming that this stock is NOT originally from an M70, but it is what came with the parts kit.

Thanks for the input guys.

+1......no issues, round head out. Looks factory-ish.
