hi all,
Nothing major done, just bent a tapco flat, cut out the magwell to fit a 10/22 30rd clip.I also am working on the bolt carrier-from scratch of course. It will be shaped similar to the 10/22 bolt and will have ak top rail slots.10/22 extractor will be used the ejector is built into the mag,so no lower rails are needed.Barrel will be setback all the way to the rear of trunnion flush with mag
The cool thing is ,when you grind the m.w dimples flush then cut the magwell out on the bottom of the floor, its a slip fit.
Looking for a barrel- used 10/22 in .22lr ,p.m me a price if you got one.I am using one from my own 10/22 but for measurement purposes only a beater is fine.
Rifle will have gas assist while maintaining a full blowback bolt, piston /and op rod (alumunum)will be used in a separate manner like a sks to keep bolt weight down and maximize blowback force and use a lighter recoil spring.Firing pin at 12'o clock(spring loaded.
